Juliette is built piece by piece. Christophe Delcourt separated seats, backs and ottomans into independent elements, so the same sofa can become a sociable seating area, a chaise longue or a large island. It is double-sided, designed to be seen from every angle, back included.
The reference is tailoring. Like a garment shaped by combining different materials, saddlery details mark the base, the belt and the back, tracing their curves and edges. Upholstery can be all leather, leather and fabric, or all fabric at no extra cost; the decorative piping is leather.
Underneath, the seat rests on a steel spring unit that keeps it from losing shape, with goose-down cushions around a foam insert. Feet are matt black-stained beech.
