Amélie Table Baxter

A table that literally revolves around conviviality

There's a moment at the table when someone reaches too far for something, and someone else stands up to pass it along. Amélie removes that moment: at the centre of the top — cut from two book-matched stone slabs, their veining mirrored from one side to the other — a fused-glass Lazy Susan turns, colour-matched to the base. It's not an added accessory; it's the point around which the whole design of the table makes sense.

The cylindrical base, in glossy lacquered MDF, provides a clean counterpoint to the raw matter of the stone: four colourways are available, pairing lacquer and glass, from dark asphalt to moss green, through ivory and burnt brick. The top comes in eleven varieties of marble and granite, each with veining that makes every table a different piece.

The details that make the difference

● Natural stone top (marble or granite, eleven varieties available) with water-repellent oil treatment

● Central fused-glass Lazy Susan, colour-matched to the base

● Glossy lacquered MDF base, four base-and-glass colourways

● Two sizes: 180cm (manual mechanism, motorised on request) and 220cm (motorised mechanism included)

● Adjustable feet

Where it finds its place

Ideal for dining rooms that entertain often, where the Lazy Susan turns every dinner into a small convivial ritual, and for contemporary settings that want a round table with a sculptural presence, not just a functional one.
