A coffee table that looks like still water
There's something almost paradoxical about Copenaghen: a rigid material like stainless steel, worked to a polish that mimics a "water" effect, throwing back shifting reflections like a liquid surface rippled by the wind. Paola Navone designs a collection for Baxter that elevates the coffee table to functional sculpture, where finely worked metal bases create airy, interlaced structures that seem to defy gravity, holding up the reflective tops with visual lightness.
The collection's three sizes — from the smallest, tall and slender, to the lowest and widest — can be arranged in single- or double-level configurations, letting you build small metallic landscapes beside a sofa or in a corner of the room, where each surface catches the light slightly differently from the others.
The details that make the difference
● Designed by Paola Navone
● Structure and top in polished stainless steel, "water"-effect finish
● Three sizes available: 42x23xH55 cm, 54x45xH27 cm, 63x41xH44 cm
● Configurable individually or stackable across one or two levels
● Surfaces that catch and fragment light like a natural prism
Where it finds its place
Beside a design sofa, in a corner that needs a reflective point of light without resorting to a mirror, or as a small sculptural composition in a minimal entryway.
