No sharp corners, just one continuous embrace. Quincy is the sofa with which Antonio Citterio rethinks the heart of the living room in 2026: a single shell wrapping goose down cushions, soft curves alternating with crisp lines, elements arranged around conversation. A sofa to share, not to push against a wall. Contact us for a personal quote.
Antonio Citterio has been designing for Flexform since the late 1960s, and his name is tied to sofas with crisp, architectural lines. With Quincy, introduced in 2026, he changes key. In his own words, Quincy stems from a reflection on the role of the sofa in contemporary spaces, and "the choice of a curvilinear configuration introduces a more fluid and convivial dimension to the living area." The sofa stops being a backdrop and becomes the point the whole home gathers around.
The structure is a single, continuous shell in metal and wood with variable-density polyurethane padding, running around the seat without a break. Corners are rounded, surfaces soft, and only at the corners does a small tucked fold of the backrest appear, a tailor's detail you notice as you come closer. Back and arms carry a layer of sterilized goose down with the Assopiuma gold label; the seat cushions combine a polyurethane core with a top layer of the same down, so the seat welcomes you without collapsing.
Quincy is a true sectional system: straight and end units, square and angled corners, six-sided units, an island and a softly contoured chaise longue. You can draw a semicircle for conversation, a big corner for family movie nights, or an open layout you can use from several sides. It also comes as a stand-alone sofa. And it sits comfortably next to more formal furniture: the curves soften the room without making it messy. Fabric and leather covers from the Flexform collection are removable.
Quincy is meant to float in the middle of a room, so it deserves to be seen from every side. If you have an open-plan space, send us your floor plan and we will design the layout with you. If you prefer straighter lines, the Flexform Groundpiece sofa shows Citterio's other side. Come and sit on it in our showroom to feel the difference.
