Niveaux Sofa Lema

Niveaux is the modular sofa Federica Biasi designed for Lema in 2022. It starts from flat seats in three shapes, square, rectangular and asymmetrical, which you combine at different levels and finish with side tables built into the composition. 

The backrests are the clever part. They stand on their own, held in place by a metal counterweight, so you put them where you want to lean, and move them when the room changes. Turn one the other way and the seat opens on a second side: the same sofa works against a wall or as an island in the middle of the living room. Fixed backrests are also available. 

Comfort comes from polyurethane in different densities, with a memory foam layer on the seat cushions and visco-fibre in the back cushions. The plywood frame rests on elastic straps with a high rubber content and on black feet with non-slip rubber pads. 

Covers are removable and play with fabric combinations and tone-on-tone textures. Niveaux comes in sizes from extra-large to mini, for living rooms as well as hotels and lounges.
